Cloak & Dagger Theatre Company was created to provide young performers with a welcoming, creative space to explore storytelling, performance, and self-expression through theatre education and camp programming.
Founded in Montreal’s West Island, Cloak & Dagger combines imagination, collaboration, and performance training to help students build confidence both on and off the stage.

Courtney Rasmussen
Program Director
Courtney Renaud is an actor, theatre educator, and the founder of Cloak & Dagger Théâtre. She studied Professional Theatre at John Abbott College and has a background in theatre, classics, and education. Courtney has worked with young performers in camps, schools, and theatre programs, with a focus on creating a fun and supportive environment where students can build confidence, creativity, and a love of performance.
Amy Ring
Instructor / Coach
Amy Ring is a theatre professional, working as an actor, writer and producer in the industry. Amy studied Professional Theatre at John Abbott College and continues to work in the arts and as an educator. Amy has taught theatre at various camps and schools over the years - she recently taught with Cloak and Dagger at MacDonald High School’s After - School theatre program, helping facilitate games and activities for the teens.
Matthew Crandall
Instructor
Matthew Crandall is an actor and theatre educator who studied Professional Theatre at John Abbott College. He has worked with Cloak & Dagger Théâtre as an instructor, leading theatre games, scene work, and creative activities. Matthew brings an energetic and supportive approach to teaching, helping young performers build confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
