A Court of Thorns & Roses

I think I might be in love. Well, I know I am, but I'm not talking about my boyfriend right now this is about books. I hadn't gotten through a whole book since the pandemic because I'd lost the motivation to read and this book really dragged me back to reading with my flashlight on or looking up to see the sun rising when I swore I'd only just started reading.

ACOTAR SO FAR

I like it. I REALLY like Rhysand (please dear god don't let him be the one that does the really bad thing in the next book *fingers crossed*). The book is sort of a Beauty and the Beast spin-off and you can kinda see the similarities in how it starts and the initial plot points, but aside from the 'beast' character Tamlin and the 'stolen from her home forever' Feyre, the plot does take its own twists and turns.

I was reading and explaining some of the parts that got me giddy to my boyfriend and he seems to think my love for Rhysand (tall, dark, and morally grey) explains a lot of why I fell for him (personally, I think my bf he thinks he's more morally grey than he is). It was nice to finally have someone listen to me when I babble about what just happened in my book (by chapter or sometimes by page lol) This sorta turned more bloggy than review-y, but the book is definitely on my read-again list (tbf I kinda read most things repeatedly).
